17th USNTF International Championships & Seminar 2010

We had a very successful 17th National Tournament this year.
Thanks again for your support and participation.
Dear USNTF Members !
The USNTF National Championships held on Friday July 30, Saturday July 31, and Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Triton College in River Grove, Illinois.
The Championship headquarters was the Rosemont Hotel O’Hare 5550 N. River Rd. in Rosemont, Illinois.
On Friday, July 30, 2010we had the Instructor Seminar, Black Belt Testing, Annual Meeting, and competitor check-in at the hotel.
On Saturday, July 31, 2010 and Sunday August 1, 2010 the competitions at Triton College.
We have officially declared July 31, " Taekwondo Day " every year by Governor of Illinois, Patrick Quinn was at our Opening Ceremonies.
It was a great success with more than 1000 compatitors and their family from many Martial Arts Schools in Chicago local area, National 40 States and many other countries.
We had many great events such as Korean Gumdo Masters demonstration, local Taekwondo Demo Team, Taekwondo Poomsae Grand Championship and Hapkido & Gumdo demonstration.
Also everyone enjoied our Instructor Seminar with Korean Masters from Kukkiwon, Korea.
Thank you to all USNTF member schools and USNTF individual members !
We had a very successful 17th National Tournament this year.

| Taekwondo Day Declaration |
We were exciting to mention that Governor of Illinois, Patrick Quinn, was at our Opening Ceremonies and he has officially declared July 31 of every year, Illinois Taekwondo Day !
A lot of Taekwondo families attended the Opening Ceremonies as a showed of strangth to Governor. This could be very helpful for the status of Taekwondo in Illinois and, eventually, in other States.
We showed an impressive turnout !

| New Kukkiwon Administration |
As of June 14, 2010 Kukkiwon will be operating by new administration.

New Vice Presidents: ----Im Choon Kil
We are going to have our sparring and form seminars conducted through new Kukkiwon administration on Friday, July 30, 2010 during our Instructor Seminar in the 17th USNTF International Championship.

Grandmaster Kwon Summer Trip - July 26 ~ August 12, 2009. Dr. Kwon visited USNTF member school in west coast and Canada road trip for 3 weeks. The following schools visited:

| USNTF Summer Picnic |
USNTF Summer Picnic - on Sunday July 19, 2009 held in Schiller Park Forest Preserve. It was a great fun day with more than 200 Taekwondo family from many Martial Arts Schools in Chicago Land area. We had many fun events such as Demo Team Contest, Volly Ball Tournament and Soccer Games all day long. Also everyone enjoied Korean B-B-Q at lunch time... ^^

USNTF Official Poomse (forms) Seminar - WTF Official Forms - was held at the USNTF Headquarters on Sunday April 26, 2009, and was a great success.
Taegeuk forms 1 - 8 were studied from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., and Black Belt and Master forms were studied from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. The following participated in the seminar:
